Kalanchoe orgyalis or Copper Spoons are one of those plants that could look fake. But Nah we don’t do faux here.
It’s that “stop and go-on-have-a-feel” type of plant with his velvety spoon-shaped leaves; which are covered in copper coloured tiny hairs on the top and yet smooth and grey on the bottom. In late winter he’ll give you clusters of sunny yellow flowers.
He has a whole lot of colour and texture to offer any garden and only requires adverage watering. A well-drained soil suits him just fine or pops him in your pot on the balcony.
Best in full sun, he doesn’t require too much maintenance really.
If you’re looking to introduce an alternative succulent, with a strong earthy feel, try this dude out. He can really give you the colour and contrast your outdoor space might be calling out for.
