Tulbaghia violacea is also known as Society Garlic and is the perfect border plant for any garden. This hardy little plant has grey/green foliage that looks like chives with dainty purple flowers. Plant me on mass and I make a big impact with my purple flowers.
This plant is tough enough that it is often used in bulk for street plantings. You get the best of both worlds, edible leaves and flowers as well as making a great display of colour when in flower.Â
