Begonia rex Red Robin is a true show stopper with its bright ruby red leaves which have a dark almost black centre. This baby is popular around the world for its coloured foliage and loves a humid, tropical environment. It looks great in tropical gardens as a border or can be used in hanging pots indoors to add a pop of colour. Â
Begonias don’t love their leaves wet so try bottom-up watering, that way they can take the water from the base of the pot upwards. Try sitting your pot in a larger bucket of water for 10-15mins then let drain. Give a liquid feed in the growing season only. In the wintertime, your plants tend to go dormant so cut right back and stop feeding your plant during this time.
